What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. They can be essential to a site working, or used for analytics and advertising.
What we use
We keep our use to a minimum. This website currently uses no analytics or advertising cookies, and our fonts and images are served from our own site rather than from third parties.
We use only the following strictly necessary storage:
Categories
Strictly necessary
Required for the website to work, such as remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics
Would help us understand how visitors use the site. Not currently in use. If introduced, they will run only with your consent.
Marketing
Would be used to measure or personalise advertising. Not currently in use. If introduced, they will run only with your consent.
Managing your preferences
When you first visit, a short banner at the foot of the screen asks for your choice. Once you choose, it will not appear again on that device.
You can review or change your choices at any time using Cookie Settings, which also appears at the foot of every page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some features may then not work as intended.
Our clients' websites
When we set up advertising systems for clients, tracking technologies such as the Meta Pixel may be used on the client's own website. Those are governed by the client's cookie policy and consent tools, not this one.
Updates
We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes. Questions can be sent to enquire@yvishausen.com.
